 KNIGHT
|
|
The Knight moves in an "L" shape which may be mirrored,
inverted or rotated. The "L" is formed by moving two square
horizontally and one square vertically, or two squares vertically and
one square horizontally. Unlike other chess pieces, the Knight may
jump over a piece that is in its path. The Knight may capture an
enemy piece if the piece occupies a square it lands on. Thus, the Knight is a
close-range piece, most powerful in close positions.
